Despite a broken leg, a young street cat showed incredible strength by dragging himself toward a group of rescue workers, desperate for help.
That brave cat was later named Bif, and his story began when volunteers from the Murkosha shelter were out searching for another injured cat.

Instead, they found Bif, thin and barely able to move, struggling with a shattered front leg.
He had reportedly fallen from a tree while sleeping outdoors, likely in a desperate attempt to find shelter. In pain and shock, Bif crawled into a basement where he remained for about a week before anyone noticed him.
By the time the rescue team arrived, he was exhausted and terrified. His fear was so intense that even his first veterinary exam had to be done under anesthesia due to his panic attacks.

Alina, one of the shelter volunteers, saw something in Bif that made her take a chance on him. She brought him home, determined to help him heal both physically and emotionally.
She took him to specialists, managed his care, and gave him multiple massages daily to keep his injured paw from stiffening.
But despite her efforts, nerve damage in the limb never healed. Amputation became the only option.

After the surgery, Bif surprised everyone. Within a week, he was walking steadily on three legs and adjusting well to his new physical reality.
Still, his emotional wounds remained. Bif was deeply afraid of people, and helping him learn to trust again proved to be a longer journey.
Alina spent six months patiently working with him. Her own cats played a big role, gently welcoming Bif and showing him how to enjoy life indoors.

Slowly but surely, Bif learned to relax, play, and feel safe again.
Today, Bif is a beloved member of a five-cat household. Missing a paw hasn’t slowed him down one bit—he plays, gets into mischief, and enjoys life like any other cat.
Most importantly, he has a home filled with love and someone who never gave up on him.
