Just as she was about to lose consciousness, a team arrived just in time to alter the course of her fate. She was swiftly taken to a care facility for emergency surgery.
During the initial surgery, doctors managed to clean and properly close her wounds. Their main goal now is to prevent infections and keep her comfortable and pain-free.
After the operation, her condition is stable. She has been treated for parasites and given medication for pain, as well as supplements to combat parasitemia and anemia.
Briana makes progress every day. Starting next week, she will begin physical rehabilitation therapy, which will include extensive physiotherapy, medications, and other treatments.
Throughout her journey to recovery, Briana received significant emotional support.
A compassionate family has provided her with a loving home, staying by her side through her entire healing process, and showing her that not all humans are capable of cruelty.
Today, Briana enjoys a fulfilling life, surrounded by love and kindness.
