A local shopkeeper and his assistant reportedly pushed a stray dog into a sewer after catching it stealing food from their store. Unfortunately, the poor animal became trapped and couldn’t escape.
Despite attempts to reach the dog using ropes and sticks, it remained stuck, clearly scared and unwilling to approach its would-be rescuers.
From above, the rescuers could hear the dog’s pitiful whimpers echoing from the depths of the sewer, breaking their hearts as they realized the animal’s plight. After many tries, it became evident that they needed more help to save the terrified dog.
Finally, with the assistance of a police officer, the situation took a turn for the better. The officer, after several attempts, managed to calm the shaking dog, who was huddled in a corner with fearful eyes.
Slowly and gently, the officer was able to coax the dog and lift it to safety.
Grateful for the officer’s help, the rescuers expressed their thanks and promised to find a loving new home for the rescued dog.
The police assured them that they would handle the situation with the shopkeeper, ensuring that he faced consequences for mistreating the stray animal.
