Rescued after being surrendered by his original owner, Cheese found a new home at Meow Parlour in New York City, where he was given a fresh start.
Cheese’s unique condition, known as microphthalmia, causes his eyes to be smaller than typical. Despite this, he leads an active and joyful life, just like any other cat.

The story of his cheerful demeanor despite his physical differences is reminiscent of another beloved rescue cat, BenBen, known for his own unique expression and clumsy antics.
When the time came for Cheese’s next chapter, a loving family eagerly welcomed him into their home. Soon after, they revisited Meow Parlour to surprise Cheese with a new feline companion, Koko, previously called Matcha.
The two cats immediately bonded, and Cheese enthusiastically embraced his new friend, unaware that Koko might soon take charge of their adventures.
