Our hearts were touched by the story of a little dog in distress who desperately needed help. This young pup, struggling to walk and trembling with fear, was discovered alone on a busy road.

People walked past her, choosing to ignore her plight despite her visible suffering.

It was evident that this dog, likely purchased from an irresponsible breeder, had spent her entire life confined to a cage.

Her life until now had been filled with uncertainty, and each car ride stirred fear within her, as she had learned to expect the worst.

Eventually, she managed to flee her confined life, running with all her might to escape the abuse she feared. She found herself alone and tired, with no idea where she was or what lay ahead.

In the darkness, she sat frightened and hungry, shedding silent tears.

When we finally reached her, a sense of relief washed over us knowing that she would finally receive the care she deserved. We named her Penny, aspiring to mark the beginning of a new, happier chapter in her life.

Our primary goal then took her to the veterinarian, where her journey to recovery began.

Just 2.6 kg in weight, Penny, a five-year-old Miniature Pinscher, was grappling with a multitude of health issues including skin infections, anemia, severe dental problems, and rib deformities.

An x-ray further revealed a dislocated kneecap, a painful condition often found in dogs that are not given proper care.

Penny’s condition is severe, requiring surgical intervention to allow her to move without pain. As she embarks on this significant recovery journey, she will need proper nutrition and care.
