A little street puppy named Raahi found herself in a difficult situation, discovered all alone with a massive growth on her belly.
This disturbing sight caught the attention of RRSA India, who learned of her plight through a call made to Star Network Rescue.

The enormity of the growth, later understood to resemble a large tumor, was causing Raahi significant discomfort. She could barely rest properly, prompting a quick response from the rescuers who rushed her to get medical attention.
Upon closer examination by the veterinary team, initial concerns about a tumor shifted to a diagnosis of an inguinal hernia. Considering her small size, the veterinarians decided that surgery was the safest and best course of action.
During the procedure, they also addressed two of Raahi’s loose teeth. After surgery, Raahi required a period of rest and was well looked after by the caring staff at a local shelter.
In the initial days following the operation, Raahi was noticeably weak. Yet, it wasn’t long before her spirits lifted and her health showed significant improvement.
The shelter staff observed her newfound comfort, especially while resting, as she was no longer burdened by the uncomfortable mass.
As days passed, Raahi’s recovery was remarkable. She transformed into a lively and joyful pup, her well-being visibly improved. Her story is a testament to the compassionate efforts of those who worked tirelessly to give her a new lease on life.
