Fortunately, the volunteers from Animal Shelter “Aid Animal kmv” stepped in to investigate. They discovered a cardboard box containing four puppies near the dog.

Realizing the immediate need, they swiftly took the puppies to a veterinary clinic. The poor animals were infested with blood-sucking mites, so giving them a bath was not possible because they were too stressed and sensitive.

That night, a doctor was still present and immediately provided much-needed first aid and tests for the puppies. The results revealed they were suffering from parvovirus, a serious illness.

To ease their discomfort, temporary treatments were applied to relieve the itching and scratching. The doctor also administered eye drops and crucial injections.

Reflecting on the timely intervention, the doctor stated, “I was really happy to get there at the correct moment because if they had been left unattended any longer, their lives would have been at risk.”

As for how the puppies ended up there and where their mother might be, remains a mystery. Thankfully, after just three days under care, the puppies began to feel noticeably better.

These resilient pups were named Lira, Nils, Martin, and Gray. Although they recovered swiftly, they faced the challenge of severe skin issues.

The doctor diagnosed them with fungal infections that required regular medication, along with special showers to treat their skin.

In time, the puppies healed entirely, and their coats grew back beautifully. Under the tender care of dedicated veterinary staff, they regained their health and became lively, attractive dogs.

Two of the puppies have since been adopted into loving homes, while the other two continue to receive affection and care from the shelter staff. The future looks bright for these brave little dogs.
