Animals often experience hardship due to human actions, which is a reality that deeply saddens animal lovers. This becomes particularly heart-wrenching when puppies are separated from their mothers, leaving them to fend for themselves without the skills they need to survive.

Initially, the rescuers couldn’t find the puppy. In the vastness of a rural area, he could have been anywhere. Their search lasted two days before they discovered him in a nearby village, weak from hunger and exhaustion. The sight was heart-breaking, but the rescuers swiftly took action, bringing him to a veterinary clinic for immediate care.
At the clinic, veterinarians found the puppy suffering from dehydration, malnutrition, and a swollen belly. He also had wounds and was infested with ticks, leading to anemia. Despite these severe conditions, the doctors were optimistic about his recovery, as the medical issues were treatable.

In the days following his rescue, the puppy began showing signs of improvement. He could lift his head to eat and his injuries started to heal, small yet positive signs of recovery.
Veterinarians suspected that the puppy was suffering from Leptospirosis, an infectious disease that can damage vital organs. As a precaution, they quarantined him to manage the illness effectively. It was thought that perhaps his previous owners abandoned him when he became sick and they were unable or unwilling to care for him.

Following quarantine, the puppy, who was now named Valentine, showed significant improvement. Although signs of the illness lingered, his health was rapidly improving. Rescue workers and veterinarians were delighted to see Valentine wagging his tail, indicating he felt safe and comfortable around them. His transformation was remarkable; the despair he once felt seemed to have vanished, replaced by a newfound sense of joy and vitality.
Prepared to leave the clinic, Valentine was soon on his way to finding a permanent home. The search for his forever family took time but was ultimately successful. His new family is loving and nurturing, providing Valentine with the care he needed from the beginning. Now, he is thriving in his new home, surrounded by affection and security.
