It’s hard to grasp why some people leave dogs stranded on the streets, especially when those dogs are pregnant, effectively dooming not just one life, but several. Such actions put the innocent mother and her unborn puppies at significant risk, as life on the streets offers little by way of nourishment and safety.
This was the unfortunate fate of a pregnant dog left tied to a fence by her owner. Heartbroken and scared, she awaited rescue. Luckily, a compassionate woman witnessed this heartbreaking scene and quickly alerted animal rescuers.

When the rescuer arrived, she was disturbed by the sight of the abandoned dog, soon to be a mother. Despite her ordeal, the dog was friendly and willingly entered the rescuer’s car, perhaps still hopeful her owner might return. Her rescuer, determined to lift her spirits, took her for a comforting walk before heading to the veterinarian to ensure she felt secure and cared for.
The rescuers noticed the dog was exceptionally thin for being pregnant, a likely sign of neglect. Following their stroll, a vet examination revealed multiple health issues, but help was at hand.
The very next morning brought a heartwarming surprise. The resilient mama dog had given birth to 12 puppies, an unusually large litter. Although she was exhausted, the veterinary staff were ready to assist in caring for her and her newborns.
The new mother was battling several health issues, including anemia, a weakened immune system, diarrhea, and parasites. Immediate intensive treatment was not an option, as it would have been too harsh for her recovering body. The priority shifted to nursing a particularly tiny puppy, who needed special care to catch up with his siblings.
As the days progressed, the mother dog began regaining her strength. Her eating had improved, and so had her spirits. Thanks to diligent care from the rescuers and veterinary support, the puppies, including the runt of the litter, thrived and grew quickly.
Over time, the mama dog, now affectionately named Yuly, made a remarkable recovery. Her puppies matured into healthy and lively little furballs. As Yuly and her pups transformed, their charm captured the hearts of potential adopters, leading each to find a loving home.
The once-abandoned Yuly, now joyous and cherished, and her puppies started their new lives with caring families. This touching turnaround brought immense satisfaction and pride to the rescuers and veterinarians involved. From a dark beginning to a hopeful new chapter, Yuly and her puppies’ story is nothing short of a miracle.
