When the Paw Squadron Rescue team received an urgent call about a puppy in distress, Chris, a team member, sprang into action. He and his colleague immediately set off to find and help the troubled pup.
Initially, the puppy was nowhere to be seen, and Chris almost decided to leave. But then, among a heap of trash, they caught sight of a tiny, scared puppy.

The puppy was a heartbreaking sight—covered in dirt, severely malnourished, and dehydrated. Chris arrived just in time, as a few more days on the streets could have been a tipping point for the little one.
Approaching cautiously, Chris offered the puppy some treats to earn its trust. Driven by hunger, the puppy accepted the food, allowing Chris to get close.

Once the puppy was fed, Chris carefully picked him up, ensuring he was comfortable, and offered him water during the car ride home.
Despite its trembling, the puppy, clearly exhausted, eventually dozed off in Chris’s lap. This was a sign the little one felt secure enough to relax.

Back at home, Chris gave the pup a long-overdue bath. It took some time to wash away the grime, but the puppy seemed to enjoy the warm water.
Clean and more at ease, the puppy began exploring his new home, revealing his curiosity through wagging his tail. Chris felt satisfied, knowing the puppy was beginning to trust his new environment.

The following day, Chris took the puppy to the veterinarian for a complete health check.
The puppy displayed a brave heart, showing curiosity rather than fear at the vet’s office.

The veterinarian examined him thoroughly and informed Chris that there was nothing significantly wrong. With age, the puppy was expected to overcome a few minor health issues. Within weeks, the puppy transformed, appearing healthy and playful.
Named Thunder, the puppy no longer showed traces of his rough start in life. He was energetic and joyful, eagerly exploring and wagging his tail at every opportunity.

With a lovable and sweet demeanor, Thunder quickly found a permanent home.
Meeting his new owner was like fate; the bond between Thunder and his new family was immediate and strong.
Now, Thunder enjoys a happy life in a warm, loving home—a true testament to his incredible journey.
