Angelina Jolie started 2024 with a stylish mother-daughter shopping trip in Beverly Hills. On Friday, the 48-year-old Oscar winner was seen enjoying retail therapy with her daughter Zahara at Neiman Marcus.
Jolie showcased her sophisticated fashion sense, wearing a chic black suit and a matching scoop-neck top. She completed her look with black stiletto heels, designer sunglasses, and a Dior purse, looking like she had just stepped off a runway.
In contrast, Zahara, who recently dropped her father Brad Pitt’s last name, opted for a casual look with a simple white T-shirt and faded denim jeans.
Angelina shares six children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt: Maddox (21), Pax (18), Shiloh (16), Zahara (18), and twins Vivienne and Knox (14). The actress is embroiled in a legal battle with Pitt, seeking full custody of their children.
The couple, who first became romantically involved in 2005, married in August 2014 but separated two years later. Jolie is also busy with her latest film project, “Maria,” a biopic where she portrays the legendary opera singer Maria Callas.
Recently spotted on set in Paris, Jolie was seen in three different costumes, fully immersing herself in the role of Callas, who is remembered as one of the most influential opera singers of the 20th century.
The film aims to “explore the life of the legendary, iconic, and controversial singer, often described as the original diva.” Jolie expressed her commitment to honoring Callas’ legacy, saying, “I take the responsibility to Maria’s life and legacy very seriously. I will give all I can to meet the challenge.”
She also praised the film’s director, Pablo Larraín, stating, “To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.”
Jolie’s portrayal of Callas is expected to generate significant Oscar buzz. Jolie previously won an Oscar for her supporting role in “Girl, Interrupted” (1999) and received a Best Actress nomination for “Changeling” (2008).
