The incident occurred in Deep Creek, near Nesbit and her family’s cabin. The group watched in disbelief as the bear made itself at home among them.

“This was a friend’s cabin, and they said the bear is always around and never really bothers them,” Nesbit explained. “Some of our group are used to being out in the wild, so we were all told to avoid sudden movements and stay where we were.”

Despite their nerves, the group continued making sandwiches for the bear, who sat with them as if it were part of the family.

Most of the group, terrified, filmed the scene from the deck’s safety, while a few brave souls stayed at the table with the bear.

The bear had emerged from the trees for food before joining the group of four men and a woman. As they enjoyed drinks and snacks, they nervously kept an eye on the hungry animal.

One of the men decided to prepare a sandwich, instructing the bear to wait, much like one would do with a dog.

In the video, onlookers can be heard exclaiming, “This is a f*****g joke, right?” capturing their disbelief.

Once the sandwich was ready, the man offered it to the bear, who gently took it from his hand. The group even hid their beers, fearing the bear might also want a drink.

“Eventually, the momma bear just walked back into the woods unharmed,” Nesbit added.
