Dogs are known for their persistence and boundless enthusiasm, often outdoing even the most determined humans in their quest for fun.
This is particularly true for large breeds like the Great Dane featured in a recent viral video, which proves that size doesn’t always matter regarding comfort.
The video showcases Kernel, a Great Dane with a comically determined spirit, attempting to fit into an unusually small, pink dog bed. Despite its size being too small for even one of Kernel’s legs, he remains undeterred.
Kernel starts by placing two of his paws into the tiny bed, showing no sign of giving up. His efforts to make himself comfortable involve a series of amusing twists and turns. When Kernel finally settles into the bed, he is far from relaxed, but his persistence is evident.
The video, set to Joni Mitchell’s “The Circle Game,” captures Kernel’s defiant side-eye as if to challenge viewers with, “I told you I could fit.”
Despite not being the most comfortable choice, Kernel seems content as he looks directly at the camera from his tiny bed.
While most of us might have chosen a larger resting spot, Kernel’s determination is admirable. If this tiny bed suits him, then more power to him!
