Living alongside animals isn’t always beneficial, even though many people treasure their pets and rarely think about letting them go. Unfortunately, many animals end up abandoned on the streets, left alone, and without the love they need.
This is the tale of Lisa, a puppy found trembling and abandoned on a roadside. Pregnant and severely injured, it appeared that whoever harmed her showed no concern for her wellbeing.
When a compassionate young person discovered Lisa, she was so weak that she couldn’t even stand. Her story was shared across social media, but help was slow to come.

By the time an animal rights group intervened, it was too late to save her unborn puppies. Amid her suffering, they passed away quietly.
Her story is just one of many, reflecting the struggles of countless animals like Lisa, who endure the pain of being betrayed by those they once trusted and loved unconditionally.

After a local child spotted the battered stray and raised the alarm, volunteers from an animal rescue organization began their search. “We kept looking for her until we saw her moving along the road,” one member recalled.
Although the rescuers worried that Lisa might be frightened away, they managed to capture her attention with food. Their patient and careful approach eventually secured her safety, although it took significant effort.

Though the journey to recovery wasn’t quick or easy, Lisa is now slowly getting better. She is eating well and showing signs of improvement in her demeanor and movement.
The abuse Lisa endured during her pregnancy left her malnourished, dehydrated, weak, and anemic. “Why was this poor, wandering dog subjected to such cruelty?” wondered the organization. “Was she attacked while trying to care for her young?”

After surviving such harsh treatment, Lisa naturally became fearful, distrustful, and constantly on edge. Even drinking water became a challenge, requiring the rescue team to provide essential fluids using a syringe.
