While out on a walk, I noticed a dog on a leash that seemed to be without an owner. Initially believing the dog to be lost, I kept an eye on her for a few days.

A visit to the veterinarian revealed that the dog was suffering from an infection caused by Malassezia yeast, which also led to an ear infection. Following the vet’s recommendation, we began treating her at home with antibiotics for a two-week period.
It became clear that the dog was not simply lost, but likely abandoned by her owner due to her illness. A few days later, she started to limp and had difficulty walking, so we rushed her to the vet again.

This time, she was diagnosed with osteomyelitis, a serious bone infection.
Her recovery was lengthy, but eventually, she regained her strength and was able to stand again. With time, she grew more lively and began to enjoy playful activities, especially in the snow.

Despite needing medication for the rest of her life, her spirit has not been dampened. Her newfound energy allows her to run quickly without tiring, and she continues to embrace life with enthusiasm, bringing joy to those around her.
