A heartbreaking note was left with an abandoned puppy, lying near a rock with eyes glued to the pathway, hoping its owner would return, but they never did.
The poor dog’s plight caught the attention of a neighbor who was too fearful of dogs to approach but alerted Hope For Pets for help. The puppy appeared to have been alone since the early morning.
The rescue team spoke to various locals; however, nobody had any information about the puppy.
It’s assumed that the dog was deserted by someone who tied it to the rock, possibly due to fears it would track them down and return home.
While the puppy seems healthy, it desperately needs a wash due to a strong odor.
In an effort to find the owner, the rescue group shared photos of the puppy online with the caption, “Unlucky Puppy – Help Me!” This led to an outpouring of anger from hundreds, outraged by the neglect.
Dogs are beloved companions, offering unwavering loyalty and companionship through all of life’s ups and downs, so to abandon one is simply unforgivable.
This behavior is both inappropriate and deeply troubling, and Hope For Pets is determined to uncover the identity of the owner responsible for abandoning the puppy.
