An adorable video from South Africa’s Kruger National Park showcases a baby elephant attempting to assert its dominance by charging a safari truck, only to seek solace from its mother moments later.
In the footage of tourists visiting the park, the young elephant emerges from the tall grass and charges toward the stationary safari vehicle.
The calf appears to have inspired its older siblings, confidently charging the truck. However, the baby elephant pauses when the car remains unmoved and scurries away.
Hiding among the grass, the calf briefly avoids drawing attention before facing the tourists again.
Gathering courage for a second attempt, the baby elephant charges toward the vehicle, pushing beyond its previous stopping point.
It seems the calf might contact the truck, but instead, it circles and retreats into the bushes.
Upon hearing the commotion, the calf’s mother approaches the youngster concealed in the grass.
The baby elephant makes one final attempt to chase the truck away but ultimately gives up and seeks refuge under its mother.
The pair then walk away from the amused tourists and continue.
