Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s ongoing public dispute over finances amidst their divorce and custody battle continues to escalate.
Jolie initially accused Pitt of neglecting his child support responsibilities since their separation in 2016.

However, Pitt retaliated, stating that he had contributed over $9 million in the past 18 months. Nevertheless, Jolie’s recent accusations suggest a different narrative.
Jolie’s attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, alleges that instead of providing financial support for their children, Pitt loaned Jolie money for a new home, charging interest.

Jolie acknowledges the loan but emphasizes it is not child support. She asserts that Pitt has failed to cover 50 percent of the children’s expenses, leaving her to shoulder most of the financial burden for the past two years.
The divorce, initiated by Jolie in 2016, has been marred by custody disputes. While Jolie is filming in London, reports suggest she returned to work to cover the costs of raising her children, as Pitt retained their family home.
Pitt’s representatives refute Jolie’s claims, stating that his substantial financial contributions include an $8 million loan for Jolie’s residence and over $1.3 million in additional expenses.

Despite their differing accounts, both parties are committed to providing for their six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.
The custody battle intensified after allegations of Pitt’s misconduct towards one of their children were dismissed.
However, sources claim Jolie’s animosity towards Pitt is a significant factor driving the conflict, with rumors suggesting she aims to undermine his relationship with their children.

While Pitt’s actions are scrutinized, Jolie’s spokesperson maintains that her legal filings aim to ensure a smooth transition to co-parenting and closure to their marriage.
As tensions persist, Pitt was recently observed attending legal meetings in Los Angeles, reflecting the weight of the ongoing dispute.
Despite the public spectacle, both parties remain committed to prioritizing their children’s well-being as they navigate the complexities of their divorce and custody arrangements.
