Check out this video showcasing a rare custom-built Caterpillar Hot Rod. Created by hot rod enthusiast and accomplished custom builder Snapper Schomaker, this remarkable piece of machinery, known as the “Caterpillar Buggy,” is truly unique.
It features a 10-speed Eaton Fuller manual transmission, and a 425hp Caterpillar C12 Diesel engine, and incorporates a frame from a 1996 International 9200 tractor into a cool 1928 Studebaker Commander.
The grille of a vintage Cat 966 wheel loader and the headlights of an old Cat 631 scraper add to its distinctive look.
The Diesel engine mill has been customized with a 3-piece exhaust manifold, Banks twin ram air intakes, a heavy-duty valve body, a cold air intake, and turbo silencer ring. This vehicle is the epitome of modification.
