Cheetah Escapes Close Call as Warthogs Turn the Tables in a Dramatic Chase

A cheetah’s hunting plans took a surprising turn when the two warthogs it was stalking decided to fight back, turning the hunter into the hunted.

Captured in stunning photographs from Kenya’s Masai Mara nature reserve, the incident unfolded when the young cheetah began pursuing the warthogs, hoping for an easy meal hidden in the tall grass.

Fortunately for the cheetah, its remarkable speed—capable of reaching up to 75 mph—allowed it to escape unharmed. After this failed hunt, the cheetah wisely moved on in search of easier prey.
