While the holiday season has ended for most, elephants at Cologne Zoo in Germany are still enjoying festive leftovers.
Each year, the zoo provides its herd with surplus Christmas trees, and on New Year’s Eve, the elephants were spotted savoring this seasonal treat.
These trees serve a dual purpose—not only are they a tasty snack, but the elephants also use them to clean their teeth.
