Elephants being forced to work for humans finally get their first bath

In many countries, elephants are used for labor and forced to work in the tourism industry, even riding and begging for money on the streets.

In Thailand, this herd is used for the latter and never knew what freedom feels like.

Thankfully, the elephants were rescued and are now enjoying life at a sanctuary.

Not only had they never felt free before, but they also have never bathed in a river before.

Now they are free; they can roam around as they like and take a relaxing dip in the water whenever they want!

In the video below, you’ll see the rescued elephants make their way through the river for the first time.

They were delighted at this newfound freedom and immediately stepped into the water and began to plunge into it, shouting for joy.

Seeing the happiness and relief on their faces was amazing. They never have to worry about being employed again!
