Forest officials rescued an elephant falling into a muddy ditch in Siddapura village, Coorg district earlier this week, and the video of the rescue is now going viral. In the video, the elephant can be seen struggling to get out on its own before forest officials intervened with a JCB excavator.
Using an excavator, the elephant was gently pushed up and then it climbed out of the ditch safely.
