Without hesitation, the rescuer agreed and acquired the puppy for a nominal fee of $15, ensuring the pup’s escape from a life of neglect.

The puppy, later named Kochi, was discovered in appalling condition – covered in filth and severely malnourished, with bones protruding through wounded skin.

It became evident that Kochi had never experienced proper care or socialization with other dogs, displaying aggression and a lack of training. However, under the compassionate care of his rescuer, Kochi began his journey to recovery.

Despite struggling with skin issues requiring daily medication, Kochi showed remarkable progress. He gained healthy weight, played with other dogs, and formed a special bond with a newfound friend who aided his rehabilitation.
