When this American tourist decided to visit an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand, she thought she would encounter some pretty friendly elephants. However, she had never expected this. One of the baby elephants couldn’t cuddle the female tourist enough. The moment was captured on camera, and this is possibly the sweetest video you will see this week!
Adorable footage shows the youngest elephant at the sanctuary bathing an unidentified tourist with lots of love and hugs. Suki is the newest baby elephant born at Chia Lai Orchid – a sanctuary specializing in elephant rescue. Since she was born, the cute elephant has only been surrounded by loving and caring creatures. Naturally, she has nothing but immense affection for anyone who crosses her path.
So when this woman went anywhere near Suki, the baby elephant couldn’t stop hugging her and rolling around her. Even so, the sanctuary assured that “no human was harmed in the making of this video,” which can be quite unbelievable since the ‘tiny’ elephant weighs around 200lb.
Suki is definitely having the time of her life, but the tourist doesn’t seem to mind the elephant’s explosive energy. After rolling around in the grass, the couple eventually got close to Suki’s mother, who showed no concern about her daughter’s behavior. After all, she can be happy to rest while someone else is taking care of her little one.
“This is the newest baby born here, and its name is Suki,” the video caption reads. “We are located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. You can assist or delegate and visit Suki and her family and live with the elephants at our eco-lodge. No human being was harmed in the making of this video.”
