Heartbreaking: Dog Muzzled with Duct Tape Sparks Outrage Across Social Media

In South Carolina, police have arrested a man for cruelly binding a dog’s muzzle with electrical tape, an act likely to cause permanent damage to the animal. The dog, Caitlyn, is a Staffordshire mix known for her friendly demeanor.

William Leonard Dodson, 41, from Charleston, South Carolina, has been charged with animal cruelty and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

However, many animal lovers believe this bond amount is insufficient,t considering the suffering inflicted on Caitlyn.

Last week, Caitlyn was found at a resident’s doorstep with her muzzle tightly wrapped in duct tape, showing signs of infection. It is believed Dodson taped Caitlyn’s snout to stop her from barking.
