The sanctuary frequently updates its followers with news and videos of its elephant residents. Recently, a heartwarming video featuring Mho Jae and her baby, Sa Ngae, has captured widespread attention.
At Elephant Nature Park, elephants are treated with care and compassion. They enjoy their favorite fruits, like watermelon and bananas, and roam freely in their natural habitat.
New arrivals like Mho Jae and her calf typically start with a quarantine period to help them adjust to their new surroundings.
However, an exception was made for Mho Jae and Sa Ngae when they received a unique visitor—Sook Sai.
Sook Sai, another rescued elephant, eagerly took on the role of nanny for young Sa Ngae. Despite initial hesitations, the three quickly formed a strong bond. They were soon seen exploring the vast grounds outside the quarantine area for the first time.
The trio’s newfound freedom is evident as they enjoy simple pleasures like snacking on watermelon, foraging for dried leaves, and splashing in water on hot days.
Sa Ngae, with his adventurous spirit, often jumps into the water pool for a refreshing dip. When rain starts to fall, the three elephants delight in playing in the mud, enjoying the relaxed, wet environment.
Covered in mud and reveling in their freedom, these three elephants exhibit a joy that touches the heart of anyone who watches. Their story of rescue, love, and newfound happiness is a testament to the sanctuary’s mission.
