Initially unsure of what they would find, rescuers were determined to make a difference. Upon arrival, they discovered all fourteen dogs suffered from severe dental disease, with some already missing several or all of their teeth.
Despite their poor health, the dogs displayed patience and sweetness, sensing the kindness of their rescuers.
Back at the shelters, the dogs underwent thorough medical assessments. Many were found to be suffering from mange, cataracts, and other serious health issues.

One by one, each dog received baths, lots of affection, and much-needed medical care. They were made to feel incredibly special, which they undoubtedly are.
The rescue groups have committed to providing extensive medical care for each dog. Whether they move to medical foster homes next or, if healthy enough, find forever homes through adoption, it is heartening to know that all fourteen dogs are being well cared for.
This touching story highlights the extraordinary work of rescue groups, often seen as angels. It also reminds us of the importance of senior dogs, who deserve love and care just as much as younger ones.

Senior dogs can be challenging to place in forever homes, but they have so much love to give. Consider opening your heart and home to an older pet. Please watch the video below to learn more about this incredible rescue effort.
