In a deserted area, we came across a puppy lying still, yet fortunately, still breathing. What caught our attention most was its belly, which was unusually large, almost as if it had swallowed a basketball.
As soon as the dog noticed us, it struggled to its feet and began to move, albeit awkwardly. However, rather than fleeing, the puppy seemed to be leading us somewhere.
To our surprise, it led us to a makeshift shelter nearby. There, we found two more puppies; they looked extremely hungry and dirty, their tiny bodies trembling from cold and fear.
We quickly took all three back to the station for a medical check-up. Thankfully, a miracle seemed to unfold— the puppy with the swollen belly recovered, and the two malnourished companions began to adjust to their new environment.
Gradually, they accepted our care, opening their little hearts to the love we provided.
