Keira Knightley Jokes ‘Peppa Pig’ Deters Her from Having More Children

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, actress Keira Knightley, 39, shared a lighthearted reason for not wanting more children.

She revealed that after years of watching the children’s show Peppa Pig with her daughters, Edie, 9, and Delilah, 5, she feels hesitant to have another child. Knightley quipped, “I could do the pregnancy. I could even do the birth, but I cannot watch any more Peppa Pig.”

Knightley expressed relief that her daughters have moved on to enjoying Japanese Studio Ghibli films, describing them as “just lovely” compared to the years spent with Peppa Pig.

She also mentioned that her eldest daughter, Edie, has started to find her “really embarrassing,” especially during events like birthday parties.

Married to musician James Righton since 2013, Knightley has previously discussed how motherhood has influenced her career choices, leading her to become more selective with roles and prioritize projects that allow her to stay closer to home.
