In 2024, dogs seem to be living a more luxurious life, with spa treatments now a popular way for owners to spoil their pets.
Across social media, dog owners share videos of their furry companions receiving pampering sessions, including cooling eye pads, face rollers, and scalp massagers.
One of the most popular examples of this trend is cleaning expert Mrs Hinch, who recently posted a video on Instagram of her dog Henry, a golden show cocker spaniel, enjoying a spa-like experience.
The video, shared with her 4.8 million followers, shows Henry lying on a towel, completely relaxed with his paws in the air as he indulges in his mini treatments.
Mrs. Hinch, also known as Sophie Hinchcliffe, started by placing cooling eye pads on Henry’s eyes, all while soothing music played in the background.
The relaxation continued with a scalp massager and a jade roller gently used on his face. Henry appeared to be in total bliss, barely moving throughout the entire session.
This isn’t the first video of a pampered pet that has made waves. Last month, pet grooming expert Verity Hardcastle posted a clip of a poodle enjoying similar relaxation techniques, complete with cucumber slices and a face mask.
Mrs Hinch is well known for her love of animals, including Henry, chickens, and three alpacas named Raymond, Roy, and Rodney.
Henry’s pampering doesn’t stop with these spa sessions, as he even has his custom-built shower area worth £800.
When Mrs Hinch moved into her five-bedroom Essex home in 2022, she converted a small storage room into a luxury shower space just for Henry.
The tiled room features a monogrammed “H” on the floor, and with 1.7 acres of land, there’s plenty of space for Henry to explore when he’s not enjoying his spa days.
This trend in pet pampering is growing rapidly, with more owners turning to luxurious treatments to spoil their pets like never before.
