Faa Sai, an Asian elephant at Thailand’s Elephant Nature Park, has charmed visitors by repeatedly breaking a sprinkler in her enclosure, creating her playful water fountain.

The sanctuary in Chiang Mai shared footage of Faa Sai joyfully splashing and rolling in the spray, which has become a daily ritual for the spirited elephant.

After being rescued from a life of abuse and chains, Faa Sai found a new home at the sanctuary, where she expresses her freedom in delightful ways.

While other elephants typically enjoy the river, Faa Sai prefers the sprinkler, but with one twist—the water pressure just isn’t enough for her.

So, she breaks the sprinkler each day by kicking the pipe, creating a more powerful spray. According to the park staff, her happiness is clear, and no one has the heart to stop her.

Staff explained that Faa Sai’s life before rescue was difficult. She had been confined in chains for so long that when she first arrived, she walked by hopping as if still restrained.

The sanctuary has since allowed her to fully recover, and she now displays a vibrant personality that captivates staff and visitors alike.

In the video, the young elephant’s joy is infectious, as onlookers can be heard laughing and cheering as she dances, splashes, and lies in the water.

This daily sprinkler breakage has become part of her routine, a playful reminder of her newfound freedom and the sanctuary’s commitment to her well-being.
