A stray dog, Kita was found alone and distressed on a large property, drenched and frightened. Kayla from “Cross Your Paws Rescue” took Kita in and brought her to a safe home.

Within a few days, Kita relaxed and lay beside her foster mom. The gradual progress was encouraging.

As Kita began to feel more secure in her new environment, she began to seek out affection and interact with the other dogs in the household. The transformation from a frightened, wet pup to a loving, cuddly companion was remarkable.

Julie, who saw pictures of Kita, felt an immediate connection and knew that her family would be adopting her. Despite Kita’s initial shyness and desire to hide, she eventually warmed up to her new home.

With the support of her canine siblings, Flare and Raven, Kita slowly overcame her reluctance to go outside.

Seeing her fellow dogs enjoying walks helped Kita feel more at ease and gradually began to participate.
