No dog should have to endure the hardships of life on the streets, especially not a small one. Without regular meals, stray dogs can suffer greatly and are often forced to seek help from passing humans. Sadly, not all humans are kind, and some react to stray dogs with hostility. This negative treatment can make it difficult for those who genuinely want to help these animals.
Suzette Hall, the founder of Logan’s Legacy, a rescue organization based in Irvine, California, was informed about two sibling puppies abandoned behind a shopping mall. Startled by the heartlessness of such an act, Hall decided to help these vulnerable animals.

Despite the late hour, Hall couldn’t rest knowing the puppies were alone. Gathering her rescue gear and enlisting a friend’s support, she drove to the location to offer assistance. When she arrived, she was relieved to see that the puppies had each other for comfort amidst their confusion and fear.
The sight of the siblings playing together touched Hall deeply, especially when she noticed that mall employees had kindly provided the puppies with a makeshift bed and some food. This act of kindness reminded her of the goodness still present in the world.

As the puppies wrapped up their playtime, they became curious about Hall and her friend. Hall wrote in a Facebook post, “We set up gates and Rosario sat on the ground. One jumped in her arms, but the other was too scared. All he wanted was to be with his friend.” With some encouragement, the more timid puppy eventually trusted Hall and came forward, leading to their rescue.
Hall, known for her unwavering dedication to animal rescue, is committed to finding these pups a nurturing and permanent home where they can rebuild their trust in humans and experience a life filled with love and happiness.
It’s important to remember that animal cruelty is never acceptable. If circumstances prevent you from caring for your pets, consider bringing them to a local shelter rather than abandoning them. Every animal deserves a chance at a better life.
