In Thailand’s Phetchabun Province, a homeless dog was discovered by rescuers in dire need of help. The dog was suffering from a large and painful tumor that severely affected her mobility, leaving her in visible distress.
The tumor had been a part of her life for so long that it was difficult for others to step in and offer assistance when it became too much for her to handle.
The rescue team spent nearly six hours transporting her over 450 kilometers to Pattaya where she could receive the necessary treatment.
A massive growth on her abdomen had not only caused her great discomfort but had also forced her to live a challenging life on the streets without adequate food.
Despite the hardships she endured, her situation began to improve remarkably following a successful surgery to remove the tumor.
A month after the operation, her condition has taken a positive turn. She is healing well and, although she is adjusting to life on three legs, she is beginning to walk again and adapt to her new circumstances.
