Touching video shows chimpanzees taking care of bottle-feeding lion cub

Not just once, wildlife told us what kindness really means. In times of despair, animals share the most unlikely bonds and care for each other in a way we can neither explain nor understand. Speaking of gentle souls, this caring chimpanzee is nothing but the same. The adoptive mother was caught on camera feeding a young lion cub with milk from a bottle in an extremely adorable video. The heartwarming moment was initially shared on Twitter by Susanta Nanda, an officer with the Indian Forest Officer and had been gaining attention on the internet ever since.

While the location or the time, the circumstances of the video are unknown, it’s impossible not to notice how caring this chimpanzee can be. The scene is nothing but pure love, and the short footage culminates with a gentle kiss from the adoptive mother on the lion’s forehead.

No wonder so many people had their hearts melted watching this adorable sight. And their reaction says it all. “We humans don’t deserve animals,” one person wrote. While another added: “A mother’s love has no limits, bounds, colours or species; it just wants to nurture, comfort and help see her own child in all the children”.

Many couldn’t even find their own words to explain the beautiful moment, with one user wrote “no words to explain this”, and another wrote “So much love”.

“The kiss of the adoptive mother at the end” is how Nanda described the touching moment. Let’s watch:
