Meet the White-Browed Tit-Warbler, the bird with a beautiful rainbow coloring

We can completely agree that there are some spectacular birds out there. Have stunning feathers and eye-catching colors. It isn’t easy to believe that some are even real!

That is exactly the case with this bird, even a sounding name can make up, but I assure you it is undoubtedly real.

So without any further effort, meet the fantastic and incredible white-browed tit-warbler.

We can found them in boreal forests and high altitude regions of Asia, such as the Himalayas. They are known to feed mainly on insects found under rocks and tree roots.

These unique creatures tend to have purply-blue bodies intentionally, with contrasting brown upperparts and pale eyebrows, hence the name.

They are very small, weigh 6 to 8g, and are about 8.5 to 10cm long.

The males are brightly colored with distinctive blue underparts. Both females and males have light brown eyebrows/crowns.

Females are generally duller in color and distinguishable by a pale lower part. Whereas males have violet-blue underparts and chest, and their tails are relatively long.

Their diet consists mainly of small insects and spiders, which are primarily caught on the ground.

Since they are potent foragers, they search for insects under the rocks and roots, although some can catch in the air. The diet is supplemented by a small number of berries and seeds during colder months.
