Photographer captured Once-in-a-Lifetime shots of a fish trapped inside a jellyfish

Australian photographer Tim Samuel captured this once-in-a-lifetime photo while freediving in Byron Bay with a friend.

No one knows for sure how the confused-looking fish got there, and even so, it still appears that the fish can control the jellyfish’s movements.

Samuel claims in his five years of scuba diving, he has never seen anything like this, and neither have we.

You really have to see it to believe it, in this bizarre yet oddly beautiful scene.

Tim said: “I knew pretty quickly what I was looking at. “Even so, I had to make a couple of double-takes though. I was both amazed and confused by what I saw.

He added: “It was interesting to see how the two of them moved through the water. “The fish pushed the jellyfish away but wobbled around and was being thrown off course by the jellyfish, and sometimes was forced to swim in circles.”
