Photographer took one in a million photos of the ‘Giant Bird’

Nature is full of beauty, and every once in a while, we come across a perfect coincidence that amazes us.

This is exactly what happened in the images below when a flock of birds formed a shape-shifting cloud (murmuration).

The sight, captured on the Costa Brava in Spain, is accurate and often attracts birdwatchers from all over. The murmuration of birds will involve hundreds, or sometimes thousands of birds, moving around in what appears to be a single creature.

It seems that the group of birds is coordinated with each other, often moving into some amazing shapes.
Starlings are most likely to move this way due to predators such as a hawk in the local vicinity.

It was almost like they were making this single giant bird show their predators how big they were.
The photos were taken by German wildlife photographer Daniel Biber and won him a prize in an international photography competition.

Furthermore, Mr. Biber didn’t even realize what he had captured until later, “It was only when I checked the pictures on the computer later that I realized what formation the starlings had created.”, He said.

“I was so focused on photography that I hadn’t realized the starling murmuration had created a giant bird in the sky.”

“I tried to capture starlings, but it never worked as I expected.”

“I eventually driving to this location every day for four consecutive days to shoot them. I picked a spot where I thought they were going and picked the right foreground and backdrop to put them in a scene. ”

“It took less than 10 seconds for the birds to make that formation.”

“I realized that I had captured a unique, technically, sharp, high-quality snapshot.”

“It often happens that birds of prey turn and starlings then create bizarre shapes. It can be quite erratic and completely random.”

“Some people have seen this display, but they looked at it from other positions and might not see what I captured”
