With an impressive height of 6 feet and a weight of 150 pounds, Dolly is receiving exceptional care as her mother cannot produce milk. In the meantime, the zoo’s staff is providing her with the necessary nourishment through bottle-feeding.
Dolly made her public debut during Southwick Zoo’s Earth Awareness Day 2021 last Saturday, captivating visitors with her extraordinary size.

Dr. Peter Brewer, the zoo’s veterinarian, has shared that it will be approximately a month before Dolly is reintroduced to her mother.
The timeline for Dolly joining the other giraffes on exhibit remains uncertain as Dr. Brewer and the team continue to monitor her progress.
