Rain, a cheetah known as the “supermom” of Pilanesberg Game Reserve, became a symbol of courage and resilience as she guided her cubs through the unpredictable challenges of the wild.
Rain faced countless threats from predators and the dangers of her environment, but her determination never wavered.

Her courage earned her the title of a “supermom” and turned her into a celebrated figure at the reserve.
Beyond Pilanesberg, Rain’s influence extended across Africa, where her offspring contributed to cheetah conservation efforts, strengthening the species’ presence across the continent.

Rain’s life attracted global attention, with fans worldwide following her daily journey—her triumphs, close calls, and moments of bravery.
Her story became one of admiration and respect as viewers connected with her challenges and successes.
In October 2023, Rain’s journey came to an end. She returned to the Pilanesberg Centre, weakened and unable to hunt, and the park’s rangers, honoring her life and legacy, decided to let her rest peacefully.

Rain’s legacy continues through her daughter, Tale, who now carries on her mother’s remarkable story.
As we remember Rain, she remains a lasting symbol of courage and inspiration for all who followed her journey.
