Here is the heartwarming tale of Bo, a dog who faced abandonment but found hope through the kindness of rescuers.

Bo was discovered by the Street Dog Rescue in Oklahoma, confined to a doghouse and in a very poor state. His health had suffered greatly due to negligence, and he had even endured attacks by coyotes without receiving any medical care.

Faith, one of Bo’s rescuers, shared with The Dodo, “Bo was actually attacked by coyotes. He was never taken to a vet or even prior to that. He just had mange all over him.”

Initially, Bo was too frightened to venture out of his doghouse. Every attempt to coax him out resulted in him crawling back under it for shelter. It took the rescuers approximately 45 minutes to gently extract him from this hiding spot.

Once freed, Bo was taken to a veterinary clinic where he received treatment for mange and malnutrition. Patricia, who was set to become his new owner, was taken aback by Bo’s appearance when she first saw his picture. “He looked so terrible I didn’t even think he was a dog,” she confessed.
